5 custom Wranglers for Moab

The 2018 Moab Easter Jeep Safari is here and Jeep have gone all out with some awesome new concepts.

No doubt, the world’s most famous off-roading name is Jeep (sorry Land Rover) and few things are as awesome as the Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Utah, USA. Well, except for every other off-road safari excursion in Southern Africa where you can, quite literally, bump into a rhino or two.

Still, the Moab desert was designed for off-roading and we absolutely love everything about it – especially the custom Wrangler concepts that Jeep give us every year to tackle it. This year, we got five Wranglers and we love every last one of them!

The first is the stripped-out Jeep 4SPEED, based on the 2011 Wrangler ‘Pork Chop’ and comes with a custom roll cage, and pretty much nothing else... But, our favourite is the Sandstorm – said to be inspired by the Baja desert racers. In true Baja style, it comes with a V8 under the skin (sick!) and a pair of shocks ready to climb Kilimanjaro.

The other three are a bit more down-to-earth but notice the awesome cage doors on the Nacho, compliments of Mopar. Then, check out the colour scheme on the Jeepster – in dedication to its red-and-white ancestor of 1966.

Finally, the J-Wagon is like any other Wrangler you’d expect to see in a Johannesburg suburb but we’d be lying if we didn’t like it anyway.

So tell us – which is your favourite?
