One last hurrah for the outgoing V12 Vantage! It's the quite the send off, draped in carbon fibre.
The V600 badge is reserved for the most engaging of Aston Martins, and this here is meant to be it. It is the last of its shape as the world preps for the prettier Vantage that we all drooled over at the end of last year.
This though is pure, gut-wrenching joy of the highest order and maxes out in all the areas that it can: 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds will feel purer when achieved naturally and 330km/h max speed is the most fitting number for what is, whether you like it or not, a motoring icon.
But perhaps the best thing about this last hurrah is the fact that it sheds all that "classy" Aston Martin-ness and drapes itself in pure carbon fibre filth. It's fitting. If it was released in its prime it would have been frowned upon in all its vulgarity, but now, dressed like this, we're like 'You go brother, you do you!'.
Only 12 of these will be produced, 6 with roofs and 6 without, and to all 12, we wish you a wonderful driving career. You will be missed.
