Motor Sundays Group (MSG) is a car-loving group about giving back. This July they showed us that South Africa cares and that cars unite us all.
"It was an amazing day and we cannot wait to do it again," concluded GT MAG reader Lethabo Joshua Dibakwane, part organiser of the most recent MSG Blanket Drive that took place on 7 July in Gauteng.
It sums up MSG's latest car-loving and blanket-giving initiative that saw them deliver much-needed warmth and motoring joy to children shelters across Gauteng.
Midrand's New Jerusalem and Leamogetswe Safety Home Shelter in Atteridgeville were the beneficiaries this time round, but MSG sees this as the start of many more initiatives just like this as they look to unite all car lovers behind good causes - and all South Africans behind beautiful cars.
"Being able to give back in this way is exceptionally rewarding. But, it was more than just about the much-needed blankets, but a way to bring joy to these children as they got to have turns in some awesome vehicles.
"Seeing the smiles on their faces was amazing. It is not every day that they get to do this. And not every day that we get to help..."
It is initiatives like this that makes GT MAG proud to be a part of our vibrant and car-caring motoring community and we commend all at MSG who made it happen. They include Lethabo Joshua Dibakwane, Neo Sepeng, Kuhle Silevu and Peter Junior Rivo.
MSG's next drive has not yet been announced, but keep an eye on GT MAG's social feeds for updates.
