WATCH! Now gamers can become real racing car drivers

Forza Motorsport 7 and Porsche will launch the 911 GT3 RS Online Cup. The winning gamer wins real training time in the real car.

Remember those days when your parents were worried that you spent too much time in front of the TV playing Playstation? Well, now you have an excuse to continue.

Yes, games have progressed so much that the skills you learn playing them can be applied to the real thing, and Forza Motorsport 7 wants to prove it. They've teamed up with Porsche to create the Forza Motorsport Online Cup that will see the winning gamer win actual training time in the Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Barcelona.

Yes, being really good at a simulation (the best, that is) will get you into a real and super fast car to take on the very best turns in Spain, and if that's not the coolest thing you've heard today then, well, as always, we want to live your life.

The Cup starts out at home. Then, through a series of rounds hosted in Germany, you compete against other racers until the "bonus" level is unlocked.

That bonus level is real life. How sick? Watch the trailer right here to find out more!

Oh - and by the way. Not to spoil your day or anything, but you can't enter. Nope, South Africans are not included in this one.

Well. That's annoying. And probably for the best too. The last thing we want is a South African in Barcelona teaching Porsche management how to spin.
